Do you need my Snapchat password?
No — never. You request your export yourself, inside Snapchat; Snap emails you the file; you open it in Still Mine. The app never connects to your Snapchat account, so there is nothing for Snapchat to flag and no risk to your account.
Do my photos leave my phone?
No. Your export is opened and sorted on your own device: no upload, no copy on a server, nothing for us to delete afterwards. Never used for ads or AI training — nobody can look at files that never left your hand, including us.
How long does it take?
Requesting your export takes about two minutes. Snap says it aims to deliver within 7 days; smaller archives often arrive within hours. Once you have the ZIP, Still Mine builds your gallery in minutes. Saving thousands of Memories to your gallery can take longer — the app tells you how long, and lets you know when it's done.
Is it really free to look?
Yes. Opening your archive and browsing every year costs nothing — no account, no card. You pay €4.99 once per archive, and only if you want every Memory saved to your gallery at full resolution with its real date. No subscription, nothing else to buy.
Is Snapchat going to delete my Memories?
No. Snap's help centre now says it will not delete Memories because you don't upgrade. From January 2027, Memories over a year old that aren't among your oldest 5 GB will be archived: still stored and shown as thumbnails, but you'll need a storage plan to open, edit or share them — or a copy of your own. Snap says it will warn you in the app before anything changes.
Does it work with a huge export?
Yes. Multi-gigabyte archives, and exports Snapchat splits into several ZIPs, are what it's built for. Nothing is uploaded, so there's no transfer to fail halfway.
I'm on iPhone. Can I use it?
Yes — Still Mine is on the App Store. Request your Snapchat export first: it's the slow part, and Snap says it can take up to 7 days.
What's your refund policy?
Simple: if your export fails or isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days and we'll refund the €4.99 in full. It's a one-time purchase — there's no subscription to cancel, because there's no subscription.
